On May 18 2009 we witnessed the infamous “burning of the shirts”. After a grueling 2 man best ball match Tim Kennedy and Karl Jones were disgusted with how they played and only gained a fair 2 points for their efforts. Later that evening they set fire to their shirts they had worn in the round. None of it was pretty, the round, nor the neon yellow shirts.
