Wedgewood Wednesday Vol 1

Here we are on 1/30/19 and just barely into the new year. Weather in the north and midwest is brutally cold with temps dipping into the double negatives.  Middle of winter here we are.  It’s that time of year regardless of where you are that one is chomping at the bit for golf season to start.   New products debut last week at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando and will be hitting the stores in the coming weeks.  The tour saw world number one Justin Rose finish strong during the sunny southern California venue of Torrey Pines last week.  And up this week is golf’s biggest party the Waste Management at the TPC of Scottsdale.  If your stuck in a cold spot of the world just seeing the sunshine and the green grass on tv gets your golf juices flowing.  We are all looking to get better at the game of golf and this year is no exception.

We’ve been chatting about all the new rules this year and how we will use them in our little group.  Will post some scenarios in the coming weeks on how they can help or hurt you depending on how you use them.

2019 will be another one of those “banner” years as we are heading to the sand dunes of central Wisconsin.

Sand Valley Golf Resort will play host to this year’s Wedgewood Cup.  A new venue for our group with a spectacular golf experience.  It’s always fun to experience new great golf design venues for the first time.  The end of May can’t come soon enough.
